The eCourses
The Online eCourses:  The Mind Body Being Integration eCourses are Experiential Learning.  Not the usual kind of intellectual learning.  To learn anything first we discover what we know and what we don't know.  This is discernment and conscious learning rather than rote learning.  The courses include digital materials that you then apply in your unique learning lab inside your mind, body and being.
IMPORTANT:  Mindful Living is not about doing more.  It is about doing less with clarity, skill, and meaning.  For most people it is about learning to slow down and become nonjudgmental with self first.  If you are somewhat stuck then your practice may be more about recruiting right action to meet yourself in your stuckness or impatience or any other way you recognize you are not free to be authentically you.  This program will reveal to you, inside of you, where you are getting in your own way.  False beliefs, unconscious patterns, and unskillful actions are observed nonjudgmentally, with compassion, and then released.  We are not trying to find what's out of balance but we may notice imbalances as they arise.  We all have them.  And we can learn to let them go.  Simple.  Not easy.  Especially in the early stages of practice.  This takes courage.  We learn to show up for ourselves from moment to moment.  To be present with Presence as Being, the True Nature.
What's in the digital eCourse:
The Mind Body Being Integration eCourses includes video, audio and text.  The courses provide and guide 5 primary ways to practice mindfulness.  Mindful movement is explored different ways with a focus on Vessel Yoga to open the energy channels where stress and mental and emotional imbalances tend to be stored.  Course materials are designed to support your learning during formal practices with high transfer of learning to informal practice or mindful living moment to moment.  I taught this course in academia and corporate wellness programs for many years.  Research reveals it is profoundly impactful on improving quality of life and life satisfaction.  It works when you show up for yourself!

Practice Time:
The time you spend is always your choice.  A minimum formal practice of 12-minutes daily is suggested.  Where you intentionally stop doing in order to practice being.  This is discussed in the first course module.  You will discover this kind yet immensely powerful program respects your individuality and provides a clear path to integrative learning.  The hardest part for most is making the practice a priority by taking time to do the lessons and look inside where real learning occurs.  We may be addicted to looking outside to what others are doing and thinking.  We may be abandoning ourselves by numbing out with TV, movies, books, excess socializing and other activites.  This is called conditioning.  It's a kind of programming by the world.  If you have these behaviors then it's likely you didn't choose them but you fell into the behavior pattern.  We can learn from others but any real learning is inside when we're conscious of how we are making choices.  Every time we choose to practice mindfulness we rewire towards greater freedom and enjoyment of life.

Retreats
For larger retreats I partner with The Art of Living Retreat Center in Boone NC and other centers.  The Vessel Yoga Mind Body Being Integration retreats provide a safe dedicated space to deepen your practice through immersion.  Arriving at the immersion with some integrative learning will support your process and help you relax into the retreat.  That's why I offer the online courses that help you go inside, develop mind, and begin to inhabit the body in an integrative way through Vessel Yoga practices.  Less is More is a guiding principle as is Relaxed Action.  Remember this development is about quality, clarity, ease, flow.  Doing less with greater skill and effectiveness.

During the retreats suggested practices are interspersed with Silence as a time to meditate by cultivating doing nothing.  Silence is where the greatest learning occurs when we know how to be present with Presence inside ourselves.  The time in silence will be determined by the group and your preferences for yourself.

After registration additional information is provided including suggestions on what to bring.  Retreats are not a vacation although you'll likely feel more than refreshed.  If you've not been on a mindbody learning retreat previously you'll appreciate the preparation to help you with expectations and to settle in with ease.   By preparing with a little practice you'll readily experience invigorating and calming healing.  These retreats invite you to shed distractions,  become quiet and introspective.  Together we'll explore the rich integrative practices offered in the eCourse or Vessel Yoga classes you've taken with me personally or seen on the YouTube channel.  This is experiential learning at it's best!
Post Retreat
At the end of a retreat we'll determine if the group or some individuals want to meet via technology to further integrate the learning.  I'll offer some options such as a Facebook private group for a live session or for posting.  We may want to consider meeting during a live Zoom session.  Whatever is best to support your development, we'll do!  I'll offer two complimentary sessions.  I've never attended a program that openly offers reflections and guidance afterwards.  I always wanted that so I'm offering it to you!  We'll consider some of this:
  • Post retreat thoughts
  • The remaining Mountain View - what feels integrated and what doesn't
  • Gifts: The Good, Bad, & The Ugly
  • Refining Your Practice now
  • Charting a new course in life
  • Welcoming everything
  • Steadiness plan
  • Connectedness
  • Holes
  • The Way Forward
