Yes!  Each of us has the potential to learn to renew the mind, let go of old programming, cultivate resting and resetting our mental & emotional  operating system, clear physical imbalances, and become present with Presence.  This potential is our inheritance.  It is inside like a seed that needs right conditions to germinate and grow.  This is Good News. 

​It's a Choice!  As we become mindful and no longer controlled by our thinking and emotions we recognize a deeper dimension of Freedom inside.  Through mindfulness practices we discover we have a choice regardless of what's outside.  We can choose to transform every area of life in the mind and body.  This choice then impacts our work, home, and all relations.  Unlike any other kind of learning this requires cultivation of the inner landscape.  Researched for 40 years, the Mindfulness MBSR is a proven path to develop mind for stress and pain management.  Vessel Yoga's arose from that program as mindful movement to accelerate conscious embodiment to awaken & cultivate life skills.

Free will!  Through the renewed mind we regulate our free will to skillfully redirect our life course and align with purpose.  This is Executive Function of the brain.  Or, the wisdom center from a yogic perspective.  Instead of auto pilot reactive living or blaming outer circumstances as the victim, we take up the journey of conscious living to mindfully direct our course in life.  We aim for Victory.  Where every challenge in our life is transformed into strength as courage and right action develop.  This can take time.  It is the healing and transformation process.  In every moment we either take one steps towards integration or away from this balanced destination that is always awaiting manifestation.  It's a choice to cultivate the inner landscape.  No one can do this for us.  We must take up the journey into the inner world.  We do not stay the same moment by moment.  A Mindful Vessel Yoga retreat will accelerate this awakening process.  If you practice the skills.

​Integrative Life Management Skills

Whether your new to the idea of awakening or deepening your journey, skills are needed.  Through proven practices that rapidly integrate, clear, strengthen and stabilize the mind and body we discover a kind of rebirth.  A new kind of human vessel forms that allows Inner Mastery to naturally emerge.  Wisdom traditions offer ways and means.  Vessel Yoga draws from these traditions to smoothly transition you to a new vista of your life inside and outside.
The 4-day, 3-night retreat includes a wide range of mindbody integration practices including mindful movement (Vessel Yoga, walking meditation, and other forms of conscious embodiment), innovative breathing practices, deep relaxation/body scan, group dialogue, silence, and other means to support our individual and group process. ​
In this life transforming program you’ll develop skills and learn to:
  • Learn stress, pain and life management skills to release mental and physical rigidity or chaos; activate executive function in the brain to access free will and wisdom (ajna chakra!)
  • Embody mind renewal skills to active when you wander off course.
  • Understand basic principles to clear deep holding patterns in the physical and energy bodies to align and balance all the systems for greater health and overall life satisfaction
  • Balance the nerves and chemistry to reflect more stability, range, and balance in the mind and body
  • Experience Mind Body Being Integration for greater alignment with purpose and life satisfaction
  • Create space in the heart and mind that invite Inner Mastery to lead life with wisdom and enjoyment.

​An eCourse bonus boost!  A free online course ($108 value) prepares you for the retreat.  After you register at the Art of Living Retreat Center, you’ll receive login for a free Mindful Living Studio eCourse: Orientation to Mindfulness (MBSR) and Vessel Yoga.  The online course login is sent separately.  Please call dhiana at 803.397.1398 for questions or concerns.  The free (to retreat registrants) eCourse offers education and a few simple practices to cultivate the inner landscape of mind and body to begin to create the brain circuitry and other conditions to balance and accelerate transformation. 

Mindfulness practices prepare our attitude and create new brain and other structures for integration.   Vessel Yoga amplies mindfulness practices through movements that clear and strengthen the physical body and other sheaths. 

Accessible to anyone who chooses this kind of integrative learning, Vessel Yoga is rooted in mindful micro movements that release deep physical, mental and emotional resistances while integrating all of the sheaths with the Bliss Body.  You are in charge of staying in your comfort zone.  Vessel Yoga is not about trying to make your body do a posture.  It's about exploring the inner landscape and releasing holding patterns that limit your enjoyment of freedom.

Fees, Scholarships, and other resources
  • Retreat fees include your room, 9 buffet meals, tea and fruit 24 hr, tuition, and use of the property.  The registration fee begins at about $450 and is based on room type.  See details here.    
  • Spa services are booked separately.  Stay an extra day or two to enjoy Art of Living's acclaimed Ayurvedic spa!
  • Partial scholarships up to $100 are available to help with retreat expenses.  MindfulLivingStudio@Gmail.com to request the application.  Scholarships may not be combined with other discounts.
  • up to 20 CEUs for Registered Yoga Teachers of Yoga Alliance
  • Completion Certificates for Professional & Personal Development.  Check with your business office or CPA for training cost reimbursement.

Retreat Faculty  Dhiana brings a wealth of experience including forty years of Yoga, Mindfulness MBSR Teacher, Executive Coach, Entrepreneur, Intuitive, and Shaman.  dhiana passionately bridges the old and new paradigms drawing from science and spirituality.  Known for her skillful intuitive teaching she sparks understanding of methods and means to tap the flow of enlightened frequency.  An experienced group facilitator, educator, and coach, dhiana’s background includes education and training of military aviation officers, corporate wellness programs, academia, and individuals of all ages and walks of life.  For 25 years, she has owned and directed Mindful Living Studio serving groups and private executive coaching clients.  dhiana is a founding ambassador of  Take Back The Garden, a new global transformational education platform for conscious living with all relations.  More details.

Note: Class ending times are flexible on Sunday and Monday afternoon.  We'll have closure at the appointed time but may stay if you wish to continue your practice.  Our classroom space is available during the entire retreat time. That's more than 70 hours.  Let's enjoy it!
