All Mindful Living Studio programs are rooted in the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program. Since studying with the founder of the MBSR in mid-1990, I have continually observed the profound impact on the health and well-being of anyone willing to stop striving and learn integrative lifestyle management skills.
The Vessel Yoga Mind Body Being Integration Program Summary
We are learning to inhabit the body! Through micro and other movements and mindful cultivation of free will we refine the brain’s executive function. Now we can reset our physiology, our beliefs, attitudes, and clear residue from former actions. We awaken. Through the Wisdom nature we transform imbalances as we compassionately uproot what is no longer needed. Tremendous energy is released for greater effectiveness and ease in all of life. We become resilient, balanced in mind & body, able to live with fruitfulness, move with ease and enjoyment.

Program Description
When we long for greater clarity, focus, authenticity, a clear mind, alignment with purpose, and a healthy body we are seeking Wisdom. This longing indicates readiness to go into the inner world where any change must occur. Here, Now, we perceive what is inside now and non judgmentally witness what arises. We are conscious of content and process. It in this soil where we cultivate Wisdom. This cultivation develops Mind as regulator. The Mind is software, a code, that regulates software. The software we choose programs the human vessel for either ignorance (we don't know that we don't know) or knowledge & wisdom. Often called the hero’s journey, we look deeply into ourselves and how we encounter the world. We then return to the world as a new, more integrated human. While this integration and coherence is our True Nature it tends to take time. Being dipped multiple times into the radiant Consciousness of Perfect Love. Through Grace what we don't need is removed and what we do need manifests. Skillful cultivation of the journey is necessary before and after each dip or baptism into the Ocean of Love. Much like an earth garden, we are cultivating the garden of our own mind and body to discover the Divine Seed and grow it first and foremost. Seek the Kingdom of God as Love and his righteous, and all things will be given to you.
There is a proven way for this development, ancient and validated by modern science; it is simple but not easy. While each person is unique, there are common stages of development. In this program, we learn to embrace challenges and honor the inner awakening process as executive development and the foundation of spiritual awakening.
As ancient knowledge echoes today, Wisdom is found inside through awareness and discernment. Self-knowledge is essential if we are to embody balance, skillfully live our daily lives, with ourselves, each other and our earth. Through various proven mindbody integrative practices, we learn to be present, to let go of what has been, and uncover a lens into the inner world.
This learning is different from any other kind of learning. When we know how to renew the mind and be fully present, this specific act of free will joins the invisible mind with the brain activating the executive center. Learning to be fully present inside then creates what some call The Brain, the distributed nervous system that brings forth integration resulting in emotional intelligence, intuition, and ways of knowing different from what can currently be measured externally. We learn to lead our lives and perform outer responsibilities with greater skill, wisdom, and flow.
Regardless of job title, age or any other individual criteria, we pursue this development when we are ready to more skillfully function in a world that is volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous.
Are you curious? It's a requirement for new learning. Renewal of mind is necessary for any real change to occur. We enjoy the mind engaged in curiosity where we are in an attentive relaxed state of awareness. We are open. To whatever life brings. We approach life with skill. What's out there is seen on the inner screen of non-dual awareness. Even the more difficult times are great opportunities to practice when we know how to use executive function to approach rather than avoid life. Through the renewed mind the brain changes its shape and chemistry. Through mindful meditative movement new circuits of fluids and light are cleared and created allowing information to flow throughout the body. In this state of integration and coherence we release the past naturally clearing any debris without losing the value of past learning. We are free to be present now and as life unfolds. This mind body being integration program helps participants understand that mind is not thoughts or emotions. Mind is a regulator. Through the renewed mind we develop the executive center of the brain. From this position we refrain from judgment, impatience, and striving. Through the renewed mind, executive function, and mindbody practices we learn to scan the landscape of the inner and outer world to make wiser choices for yourself, how we interface with each other, and how we impact the earth.
Influences: Along with MBSR and other mindfulness teachings, Vessel Yoga is inspired by the Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo and the promise of humanity to create the Divine Life here on earth. Sri Aurobino synthesized the teachings of yoga and offers an enlightened path for the modern world. My first international journey took me to the Sri Aurobindo ashram in Pondicherry India and Auroville, the City of Dawn. iRest by Richard Miller, Ph.D. continues to inspire me. Dr. Miller was faculty during my Integrative Yoga Therapy certification training and sparked my awakening to embodied movement. Kripalu Yoga was the first catalyst to open the vast doorway into the world of Yoga. The man Jesus who became the Christ and showed the way for all of humanity to bridge heaven and earth is my birth influence. My journey brought me back to Christ who can be directly known in his glorified body and through the Holy Spirit. Buddha, awake one, the Noble Truths, and wise practices are etched deep in my soul through visions and initiations. The Native American medicine path was given through vision honoring the clay vessel as Great Spirit's miracle and expression.
